Embedded
This is designed for seed-funded teams who need to hire now but are not quite ready for a full-time internal recruiter. We offer a full desk recruiter-on-demand that easily scales up and down with your hiring needs. We will optimize your ATS (or select one), screen applicants, source passive talent, coordinate interviews, extend offers, and close candidates.
Contingent
This option is available if you have an internal recruiter and/or multiple open headcount. We will boost your top of funnel with high quality, vetted candidates, stay close to them throughout the interview process, and make sure you’re armed with all the necessary information to extend an offer that is likely to be accepted. We’ll also provide insights to help you secure the right talent.
Retained
This is designed for Series B+ teams who need to hire non-executive leadership: Staff/ Principal Software Engineers and Engineering Managers/Directors. These roles deserve a quality search process without a six-figure price tag. We will identify the population of relevant candidates and work through a multi-channel messaging strategy to attract them.
Container
We offer this solution to Series A+ teams who have an internal recruiter but need to augment their search efforts for high priority roles. Instead of engaging multiple contingent recruiters who will create noise in the market and might deliver, you pay a small deposit to engage a committed search partner who will deliver on time and on budget.
About Us
Matt fell into recruiting over a decade ago. In his first five years at an agency, he supported NY tech startups such as Peloton, View The Space (VTS), Citymaps, WeWork, and Gemini, before they had any internal recruiters. He continued to support through their high growth stages and often post-IPO.
In 2018, Matt branched out on his own. Believing that a narrower focus and commitment would result in a better search process and result, he worked with a select few teams to test this theory. He worked as a contract internal recruiter for four different startups and successfully delivered on all open reqs across software engineering, design, product management, and product marketing.
Matt continues to believe that, with the appropriate focus, process, and commitment from both the hiring team and recruiting partner, it is possible to consistently make key hires on time and on budget.
